Armenia chose their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 using a national final that consisted of two semi-finals and a final, which took place on 25 February 2007. Hayko was selected by the jury to represent Armenia with the song "Anytime You Need". Although the decision was entirely up to the jury, a televote was held with Hayko being the victor. The song was written and composed by Hayko and Karen Kavaleryan.

Armenia directly qualified to the final in Helsinki on 12 May 2007. In the final, Hayko performed second last following Turkey and preceding Moldova. He finished in 8th place. It can be noted that while Armenia finished one point above Greece in 2006, they this time finished one point below them.
